Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta has revealed that the club have made their approach for Emre Can, and they are not in a hurry to know about his final decision. The Germany international has just three months left on his current Liverpool deal, and he has been widely tipped to leave the club on a free transfer during the summer.
Can has been regularly associated with a move to the Old Lady since July 2017, but the German stressed earlier in February that he has yet to decide on his next move. Speaking on Premium Sport, Marotta reiterated the player’s stance and suggested there are also other clubs vying to pursue his services on what is likely to be a huge bargain, he said: “We are not going to have a final reply any time soon. He is a top player and many clubs want to sign him. He is available as a free agent. We’ve already made our move but his reply is not going to arrive any time soon.”
